A little about us, and a lot about why we love what we do.
The beginning
Loving animals came before anything else
She was the animal whisperer
Stephanie was a pet lover at heart before she could even walk. She was the toddler leaning out of her stroller for every dog on the sidewalk, and the little girl dressing up her childhood dogs in bows and dresses, which they very graciously tolerated.
By the age of 10, she was the neighborhood pet sitter. Families trusted her with their animals, then their friends did too. Somewhere along the way, people started calling her the animal whisperer. Shy dogs came out to play. Nervous cats settled in her lap. To this day, she still has that special touch.
And he was the boy with a Lab at his side
Luke grew up with Labs, the kind of dogs who are always ready for whatever comes next. As a boy, he couldn't go anywhere without them. Every creek, trail, and backyard adventure had a dog right beside him, muddy and happy.
That boy grew into a man with a big, soft heart for every animal he meets. Dogs have always been his first love, but lately, much to his own surprise, Luke has become a real cat guy. His heart just keeps getting bigger.
And now, together
Today, even without pets of our own right now, God keeps filling our home with little ones who need us. We foster kittens for a local humane shelter, most arriving very young and very small. We feed them, care for them, and love them until they're strong enough to find their forever families.
If we're not caring for your pets or our foster kittens, we're probably with our family's dogs, who live close by.
The two of us
91 days to forever
We met in the middle, at a Christian rally in Seattle. Stephanie had lived her whole life in Oregon, and Luke had put down roots in Idaho with his family. A few weeks apart was all the distance we could take. Stephanie moved to Idaho, and within 91 days we were married on top of a mountain in Kellogg, sealing our vows with our very first kiss.
We became business owners the same season we became husband and wife. Luke gave his notice three days before the wedding, and Stephanie left her job in Oregon with nothing lined up, only a heart trusting the Lord to provide. He has been faithful every step of the way, and this business is now our full-time calling.
These days, we're full-time entrepreneurs, setting our own schedules and building our businesses together, one client and one home at a time. When we're not out in the field, you'll often find us at a coffee shop dreaming up new ways to bless our clients, or working on our laptops at a client's kitchen table while their dog naps at our feet.
We work most stays together. That means your animals get two sets of hands and two people who know their routine, and the house is rarely empty.
